NovelCritic was begun in 2006 by a couple of aspiring authors who, in addition to being writers themselves, have read hundreds of books each in a variety of different genres. Like any good authors, they were seeking other ways of letting people know which books were worth reading and which books were just a waste of time. They were also especially interested in giving the “little guys”, other aspiring authors like themselves, an avenue of getting some exposure and some reviews.

Since the time of its inception, NovelCritic has added other authors and readers in a variety of different age brackets to review novels.

Resources and good advice for authors will also be added to the site as it is discovered.

NovelCritic readers will be reviewing the novels that they are currently reading on a continual basis, as well as reviewing some of their favorites from times past. We will be reviewing all genres of books, from young adult and contemporary fiction and series to the newest thrillers and science fictions novels.
